Ball bearings, available at the Rombor warehouse, are not uniform. We distinguish at least several of their varieties, and for this reason – to ensure our offer is as diverse as possible and capable of meeting the needs of all customers – we continuously expand its range. This attitude makes the next people who choose to collaborate with us highly value it and return for more products from trusted manufacturers.
One of the items we receive from them is spherical thrust bearings. Their rather mysteriously sounding name probably doesn’t mean much to customers who do not deal with the construction of individual machines on a daily basis, so we will try to briefly describe the situations in which it is worth having them on hand.

The elements described here are equipped with two rows of balls. They also have an even number of rings. One of them is an inner ring, while the other is an outer ring. The first one has a raceway that resembles a sphere in appearance. The second one, on the other hand, has two raceways with characteristic grooves of significant depth. The bearings are available in both open and sealed versions. However, both types are equally (i.e., very) resistant to the occurrence of angular misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing.
Among the most important general features of the product is the fact that they are, as their name suggests, flexible. Moreover, they achieve excellent performance when a given mechanism operates at high speeds. They generate significantly less friction than other types of rolling bearings, which results in a considerably lower temperature even at maximum speeds. This, in turn, affects the durability of the product and the period of its usability for the most effective use.
Achieving such a – positive, of course – effect is also possible because the small gap between the balls and the raceway of one of the rings (in this case, the outer one) does not expand or contract, resulting in practically negligible friction.
It is also worth remembering that the ball bearings we offer (including flexible ones) significantly reduce noise and other sounds generated during the operation of the device, which positively impacts the environment. Therefore, we recommend our products to all customers who are looking for brand new, functional, and particularly durable items at a low price.
The continuously developing business of the Rombor wholesale is the best confirmation that we know exactly how to meet customer expectations and significantly ease their choice of interesting components. Therefore, we recommend our services and encourage you to explore the content of the store's website, which contains detailed information about all the products we distribute. Their descriptions will certainly be helpful before making a decision to place an order.
Spherical plain bearings from our prepared offer are mainly used in machinery, and one of the accuracy classes in which they are produced is P6. Moreover, they have cages made of high-quality materials, namely brass, steel, polyamide, or thermosetting plastics – depending on the model. Even their long, regular operation does not cause them to lose efficiency sharply over time. This is particularly important when customers of ROMBOR decide to acquire flexible bearings in housing, which constitute a somewhat different group of products also available in our offer.
Flexible bearings in housing are most commonly used wherever it is necessary to create an exceptionally complex structure. Thanks to them, it is possible to m.in. easily level out often occurring axial misalignments. In addition, this type of rolling products performs their work even more efficiently, and their design is considered more durable than traditional models. Therefore, we recommend housed ball bearings both with rubber sealing and without it, available at an attractive price, in various sizes, and in quantities that will satisfy every customer.
